My design approach is rooted in understanding people. I prioritize accessibility, functionality, and user feedback to create seamless experiences. Design should feel effortless—if users struggle, it is not working. I also value sustainability and impact, ensuring my work reduces frustration and supports ethical, responsible choices.

How I started
Coming from a family of engineers, I was always surrounded by tech buzzwords. In high school, I first took a class called Design Technology and found something that I was genuinely interested in. In that class, I designed a dog paw cleaner following an exhaustive step-by-step design process, but enjoyed every part of it. I also interned at a design firm to confirm this interest.

I’m excited to keep learning about the many aspects of interaction design and creating experiences that not only bring me joy but are also enjoyable for others to use. 😊

User-centered
User-centered
User-centered means starting the design process with the user's problem, having empathy for them and also involving them throughout the process as much as possible by doing lots of user testing and feedback sessions. I believe this process should always include a focus on accessibility, ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability, can engage and enjoy the product.

Functionality
Functionality
If the user can’t finish their task without getting lost or frustrated, what’s the point? I love making designs that feel easy and familiar, even when they’re brand new. That is also why I value feedback—it shows how different people approach things. What’s simple for one person can be tricky for another, but finding the balance is always worth it.

Sustainable for all parties involved
Sustainable for all parties involved
Sustainability to me is about giving back—to the planet and its inhabitants— by making thoughtful design choices that help, not harm. Whether it’s saving energy or avoiding user frustration, I believe design should contribute positively, not just take up space. Inspired by Ruined by Design, I aim to create products that are meaningful, responsible, and impactful.

Stars
Stars
When I was in kindergarten I struggled to draw a wonky star that looks more like a scribble than anything celestial. But once I got the hang of it, it felt like a puzzle: you take one point, and suddenly you’re connecting lines and angles to make something beautiful. That shape now also reminds me of the iterative nature of design: you start with a simple idea and, step by step, it evolves into something bigger and better. Plus, stars are a great metaphor for the vast possibilities in design, right? Always expanding.

The beach is my favorite place to unwind. The sound of the waves crashing is calming, and the depth of the waves makes me think about the vast, unexplored parts of our planet (and also the entire universe/ multiverses). This sense of curiosity is something I try to bring to my designs, exploring new possibilities and finding hidden solutions.

Limitlessness
Limitlessness
I find this word to be the perfect analogy for how I see the world: full of infinite possibilities, and nothing is set in stone. The universe is vast, constantly changing, and that’s what makes it fascinating. Design is the same—there’s no one “right” way to do things. Every decision, every change, has the potential to shift the entire outcome. That unpredictability is what keeps it so exciting!
